Description
Benazepril is an ACE inhibitor that helps blood vessels relax and dilate. Benazepril Hydrochloride Tablets may be used in the treatment of high blood pressure, heart failure and some forms of kidney disease. Benazepril may be used in dogs and cats. The usual dosage for dogs is 0.1 – 0.2 mg per lb. body weight, 1 to 2 times a day. The usual dosage for cats is 0.1 – 0.45 mg per lb. body weight, once daily. Benazepril requires a prescription from your veterinarian.
